"Father, I thank You that Jesus died for me. I confess I have broken Your laws. Forgive my sins. I receive the pardon right now. Lord Jesus, come into my life. Give me a new heart with new desires. And by Your Spirit, give me the power to live a life that is pleasing to You. Thank you for forgiving me as You promised. Thank You for the gift of eternal Iife."

The Life Chaining Message

Heaven and eternal life are a free gift from God. "...the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23b - NIV) We cannot earn our way to Heaven and we do not deserve it. "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy..." (Titus 3:5a - NIV)

None of us is without fault but God tells us that we must be perfect to enter Heaven with Him. The Bible tells us about a worldwide problem called sin. The consequence of this problem is our eternal separation from God and no personal relationship with Him.

God is loving ("...God is love." 1 John 4:8b) and merciful and He does not want to punish us, but He is also just and He must punish our sin. This situation creates a barrier or separation between man and God.

But God gave us the only solution in the person of Jesus Christ who said: "...I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 - NIV)

God's Word tells us that Jesus is both fully God and fully man at the same time. He came down from Heaven to earth to live with us. He was born as a human being, lived a perfect, sinless life, died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for all of our wrongs we have ever done and purchase a place in heaven for each one of us.

Forgiveness and eternal life is available for all but it is not automatic."Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12 - NIV) Each person must have faith in Jesus Christ alone and trust only in Him for our eternal life.

The Bible tells us that we can know for certain that we have Eternal Life."I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:13 - NIV)

We receive this Free Gift through prayer. "...if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 - NIV)

“You Are Worthy, O Lord,

To receive glory and honor and power;

For You created all things,

And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Jesus replied, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But you haven't believed in me even though you have seen me. However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day."

The "Baptism in the Holy Spirit by Pastor Daniel Maqsood

Posted by Danialmaqsood on October 3, 2012 at 7:40 PM Comments comments (0)

The "Baptism in the Holy Spirit" is understood to be a second baptism, "in fire" or "power," spoken of by Jesus in Acts 1:8. Specifically, it refers to the experience of believers on the Day of Pentecost described in the book of Acts (Acts 2:4). The following verses provide evidence that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct and separate experience from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that occurs at salvation: John 7:37-39; Acts 2:37-38; Acts 8:15-16; Acts 10:44-47
